This was the companion server for www.ilovespades.com. We are off-line for a short while as we wrestle with developing a more secure game delivery structure to combat the growing evils of web hacking.
We dealt with two kinds of monsters, the novice and the pro. Disruptive thugs who sought any way they could to destroy game play, insult, harrass, stalk and make the play environment a sewer. And the professional destroyers from near and distant places who sought to steal what they had not and could not earn.
The professional web site killers who break into server, steal email list, place poison code on machines to redirect users to viscious sites were among the most destructive. I could not in good conscience, continue to expose players and guest to these sorts of attacks and redirects.
Unfortunately the internet structure offers little to no penalties or preventions for these sorts of attackers and until such a time that I can, the site will remain, off-line.
